WOWZERS! It has been a LONG time since I've blogged here! Life is so hectic outside of the homeschooling world... Everyone has so much unexplained energy... WHY???
A personal update before I get into quizzing stuff... AKA I'm making excuses for why I haven't been blogging. I have just started my Teacher Training at Edmonton School of Ballet... Well, not JUST... Like, back in September. It's an exhausting program and I dance 31 hours a week... That's a lot of plies! So... That's my excuse for not blogging. Everything is such a big deal to these people... It is very different from the environment at Quizzing where it's okay to just come to practices and meets and enjoy yourself and however you do, it's okay. I will be taking my Highland Associate's exam in March, my RAD Ballet exam in exactly 2 weeks, and my Cecchetti Ballet exam in June!
Quizzing related stuff... So apparently before the year started everyone got together and devised how they could make my job as a coach harder. No, not because they act out and fool around at practices, because they're all really good quizzers. What am I supposed to do??? There's not a WHOLE lot of work to be done. Occasionally I tell them to jump faster, I make little challenged as practices... But they're all doing super well. Not to brag about my team or anything...
I have officially become a study-a-holic with my Highland theory. I was worried after Quizzing htat I wouldn't have anywhere to put my awesome skills for memorizing stuff to work but I have found my outlet! It isn't quite the same but it's filling a void and a lot of bus ride time. Now, I could sit here and complain about my team being good and not being able to be on the benches or I could get over myself, promise to update and stop talking before I post something stupid.
